The figures revealed by the OECD show very different realities.
But what about Mozambique?
In Mozambique, only 20% of all students enrolled in Higher Education are attending courses in areas related to Science, Technology, Engeneering and Mathematics - and from these, only 2% are woman.
A very small number for the size of the country and its development needs, largely supported by science-based professions.
Very small also from the point of view of gender representativeness.
How can we motivate girls for Science?
